Golden Triangle, Mumbai, Goa in July / Aug

HI all,

Was planning on going to Delhi / Agra / Jaipur, then down to both Mumbai and Goa over a period of three weeks, July 23 - Aug 12. However...... I've spent all day today reading about the monsoon and associated problems, so can any of you out there advise on whether this itinerary is; a) viable and b) worthwhile? If not, would a different route around be any better (i.e. take in Chennai, hyderabad)? Any suggestions or tips gratefully recieved!

Well the time you've allowed yourself is definitely do-able. A couple of days each for Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur will leave you plenty of time for both Goa and Mumbai.

It will be stinking hot (not to mention wet) - so not a bad idea to given yourself sometime when travelling and not push it too hard.

yes!these months are of monsoon in india though in mumbai and goa because these are in costal area but delhi,agra and jaipur will be much more pleasent in these days.
