Going Delhi-Manali or Jaisalmer for New Year's?
Hi..
We are a group of 7 people and are planning to go to Manali from Delhi. Going on 28th December 2007 and coming on 1st January night. Is it a right time to go or would it be too cold there ?? You can hire two cabs but that would kill the fun of driving together. Though having your own car does give you the flexibilty of stopping wherever you want and enjoy the scenic beauty. You can go through Bus(Volvo)and can book online if you want. Take my advice and head on to Manali. Dont think twice  |

If you go in a Volvo, it would come out to be roughly 6k per side, which is more than one would pay for an AC Innova with an LCD and DVD player!
My 2 cents: Unless you are planning to take the HRTC bus, hire a Innova with a private number. |

Delhi to Jaislmer
Hi.. Planning to go to Jaislmer from Delhi for new years..Going on 28th December evening and coming back on 1st Jan 2008.

Train is the obvious choice when you have only a few days but getting a reservation may be a real problem, try ASAP
