Goa to Delhi / Agra for India virgin

Hi all India experts, am spending a week in Goa at the end of November and from there going with my 8 year old daughter to Delhi and Agra, only for 3 days more's the pity. A couple of questions for anyone who can help. Would I be best to head straight to Agra and if so are there any direct flights from Goa to Agra (haven't been able to find any)? If not will head for Delhi first - would I be best to go straight on up to Agra or stay night in Delhi first, read so many conflicting thoughts on the best time to se Taj - sunrise versus long queues later. How far is Delhi airport from the main railway station - can I make a connection in 2hours ok? Can anyone recommend a company for a driver to take us round Agra? Any help or advice gratefully received. Ex

Hi Ellis
I dont think there is any Direct Flights to Agra from Goa. You have to reach Delhi and from there you can go to Agra.
Option 1: You can stay in Delhi and you can board the morning train to Agra(BHOPAL SHTBDI - Dep 6.15AM Arr 8.15AM).
Option 2: You can board the night train to Agra. It will take around 2 hrs (because of traffic) to reach the railway station from the Delhi Airport.
Option 3: You can arrange a cab for a Airport Pickup and then travel to Agra. It ll take around 5 hrs to reach Agra. (Cabs like Tata Indica costs around Rs 6/7 per km).

Note: Taj Mahal is beautiful during Sunrise and Sunset.
