First Time India...How About skipping the Golden Triangle?
Hi everyone,
We're heading to India for two weeks in November. The downside is that our time is short, the upside is that we don't have any expectations of what we "need" to see. We've been planning a Golden Triangle + Varanasi trip and a flight to Goa, but I scrapped that today for this idea instead. Delhi - 2 nights Agra - for the Day Udaipur - if we can train/fly there Hardiwar Rishikesh Jim Corbett Reserve I was set on Varanasi, but am okay with substituting Hardiwar. Does this sound do-able? Any additions? Thanks! Michele Mod Note: A duplicate post to this has been deleted. Please try not to post the same message twice as it is confusing as well as against site rules. Thanks. Train to Udaipur from Agra departs around 6 Pm and reaches early morning. For Udaipur to Haridwar there is a train from Abu road at 2 PM that reaches Haridwar at 12.30 PM.
Core area of Jim Corbet opens on 16th Nov. So plan accordingly. |

Skipping the Triangle: Nothing against it, of course.
If your plan is doable in your timeframe: No idea, can't advise.

Michele, if you are planning to visit Agra for the day, ITDC conducts day tour to Agra from Delhi.
