finally finished our itinerary-what do you all think?

We have finally finished our itinerary ans would like some comments.
I found the india railways new internet booking site really easy to use and instant confirmation . Except that the trains are booked up fast!!!!I booked agra to varanasi today (2ac sleeper) 2 days after booking opened and got the last 2 berths.
I first tried to book most of the hotels direct but many don't respond to you so decided to use travelmadeeasy which i have found very helpful.
Internal flights i booked thrugh a travel agent here in oz so as not to worry about the international credit card fiasco.
The only ?'s I have are:
1: How much would a taxi cost from Jaipur to Agra and to use it to see the sights and take us to the train station att 21.50 to go to varanasi. And is there much to see on the way? How long would it take?
2: We are just going to rock up to Pushkar on the first day of the festival and find accom...possible? Tried to find places on the net but waaaaaaaay too pricey.
3: How much and how long from udaipur to pushkar and is there much to see on the way? ( As you all have gathered by now we are taxi in india virgins!)

The hired non-AC car (insist on an Ambassador) would cost less than Rs 2000 for the whole day to Agra (more likely 1500). The trip J to A is probably 5 to 6 hours. There are stops on the way where you can get a short camel ride for a photo shooting. I hope the dancing bears are not there anymore.
