Festivals
Gday guys, will be spending 6 weeks in India in Jan/Feb, mainly in the north it seems, and was wondering if there were any standout festivals that we should try and fit in, as my girlfriend and i would both love to take in this atmosphere while we're there.
Our itinerary goes vaguely like this: Delhi -> Agra -> Varanasi -> Khajuraho -> Banhavghar -> Jaipur -> Jodphur -> Jaisalmer -> Udaipur -> Mumbai -> Ajanta -> Delhi -> Home We may dip into the south as Goa and Kerala do fascinate us. So yea, any festival advice for those destinations for that time of year? Thanks for the help! |
