Question Festival Dates for 2006?

I've been having a tough time nailing down the exact dates for a couple of upcoming Festivals in 2006. The internet is loaded with misinformation. Can anyone help me with these?

Brij in bharatpur

Maha Shivratri (sivratri)

Thanks.

Maha Shivaratri is on 27th Feb. (Monday) 2006.

No idea about the other one. Anyways what is this " Briuj in bharatpur "? What type of festival it is? If you can explain then I will try to find the date.

All of you are correct & me too. The "Panjika" ( Hindu Timetable Callendar ) is showing Shiv-ratri on 26th as well 27th Feb.It is very difficult to say the exact day , celebration will depend on the region too. (Like holi / diwali - both the festival generally celebrated oneday before in Bengal . ) According to some it is on 26th whereas some one is saying it on 27th.

Ah ha in that case it's just a few days before the onset of the Holi festival so the dates for Brij this year are as follows

02.02.2006 - 04.02.2006

Unhappy

Thank you all very much. But so far I have not been able to determine exactly which date(s) Brij is celebrated in Bharatpur in 2006. I've sent emails, to no avail. I'm starting to think it's an invisible celebration.
