Dharamshala, Dalhousie, Amritsar...places to see?

I have a 8 day holiday laid out. I need help of the helpful members here for planning out the places to see. This is for my honeymoon tour.

Here is tentative plan. The bookings of the tickets is done, I need help in 'places to see'

Day Plan
1 Reach Dharamshala at 4.30pm by flight
2 Sightseeing (Need help here), back to Dharamshala
3 Jwalaji and Kangradevi temple (can anything more be added here? I wish a toy train ride could be added), and back to Dharamshala
4 Bus to Dalhousie, and stay (can anything be seen that day, around Dalhousie?)
5 Full day tour to Khajjiar and back to Dalhousie
6 Full day tour to Chamba and night bus to Amritsar
7 Reach Amritsar in morning, see Golden temple, Jalianwala bagh and Wagha border in the day, and catch the 9.30pm train to Delhi
8 Reach Delhi in morning 7.15, take half-day sight seeing tour in Delhi (need help here), I want to do some shopping in Nizamudding area as well. Return to station to catch 4.30pm Rajadhani express.

Please guide me about the places to see, also the places to stay. My budget is moderate, ie 3 digit INR per night stay at hotel. How are the youth hostels there (I have their membership)?

You might as well add Durgiana Mandir and Ram Bagh (Company Bagh) to your Amritsar itinery.
