Hi all

Just a quick question.

The prices that you kindly suggested for hiring a car and a driver ie Rs 7 for Tavera, Rs. 8 for Toyota Innvoa, without AC - Does this price include the price of diesel/petrol or would I need to pay for this.

BTW, the best quote I have had so far for my trip is Rs.10 (without AC) - They must know I'm from the UK

Thank for your help ........

The price includes the cost of fuel, you have to pay Rs.100 is its driven in night hours, else if it is day time then nothing. ofcourse you have to pay the toll tax, parking fees. All other vehicular costs have to be born by company.

Here try this person, his name is Amit, tell him my name and talk to him : 9810152198

Mesh,

Why don't you to take the morning shatabdi to Amritsar which leaves from New Delhi early in the morning. Get down at Ludhiana and from there you can go to Nawanshahr. I had been to this place recently for some official work and I tookwent. The Indica from Ludhiana costed me Rs.600/-.

You can also get down at Phagwara and it would take only 1 hr approx.to be at the place. I presume that you would be making your journey from Delhi. The road journey would easily take around 7-8 hours depending on how you travel. If your looking for the journey by road then it is all together different ball game. However, if you want to be there with convenience and in the least possible time. It is suggested that you go by train -Swarn Shatabdi (Train No.2029 leaves Delhi at 7.20 AM Check for thursday otherwise the train leaves daily) You may visit http://www.indianrail.gov.in/ to get the detail. This way you can be at Nawanshahr by 1.00 P.M.

Hi Vinian,

When I first started looking at this trip, I did consider the train, however I have 5 others traveling with me, with large suitcases - so for a hassle free (if there is such a thing )journey I decided to go by car.

Thanks for your suggestions.
