Delhi-Lansdowne route help needed ASAP!

Hello fellow travelers, I am a newbie here and feel really glad to have finally found a place where likeminded people can share and discuss about anything and everything travel!

I would be visiting Lansdowne in about a couple of week's time or so. I just wanted to know the exact route to take for the same. I am aware that the road to take is the following:

Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut-Najibabad-Kotdwara-Duggada-Lansdowne

However, I specifically wanted to know the route to get out of Delhi onto NH-58 towards Meerut and then onto the subsequent places mentioned above. If anyone of you could please guide me, then that would really be appreciated. I would be starting my journey from South Delhi (South Extension, to be precise).

Kindly help me out fellows.

Thanks.
-S3VEN

Okay, will try that as well but if anyone could provide a few details here, in this thread, that would really be helpful.

brother, when we drove there last year, we did not ask for any directions from anyone. Just reached Ghaziabad, from there found our way to Meerut, from there to Najibabad so on and so forth.

+1
Unless and until you aren't traveling with family, it's always fun to explore new places... that too with asking people and going on the wrong roads once or twice

Well fellows, I gave mapmyindia a try - and found it too tricky for me. I put in South Extension to NH58 -There were sort of rolling maps coming up and in the middle I fleetingly saw what I wanted but it kept on changing to a map of States around Delhi. I missed my one chance to see how you got from South Extension.. So yes, it's probably handy, if you can get it to work for you.
Can someone please write here how he gets from his house to NH58, at the very least, please?

I know! I tried mapmyIndia as well. Though it is helpful but it is confusing as well. I would also really appreciate if someone could actually write down the roads to take from South Extension to atleast NH-58 (uptil Meerut), if not beyond.

From south ex take the ring road towards Sarai Kale Khan, from Kale Khan take the right turn on NH-24, keep going on straight till you reach Delhi-UP border, immediately at Delhi-UP border, take the left, go straight till you reach a T-point, there take a right turn, you'll reach a bridge over Hindon river, after this bridge, take the first left turn, and go straight for 50 KMs, you'll reach Meerut.

You will have to cross Meerut to reach the Mawana road. Ask for Begul Bridge, and once there ask for Mawana road, once you are on that road, keep going straight. You'll reach Kotdwar via Mawana, Bijnore, Najibabad.

Once at Kotdwar, again go straight for 18 KMs, you'll reach the Dugadda fork, from there take the right turn. Drive for 16 KMs to reach Lansdowne.

As late as this is - the 4043 Garhwal Express leaves Kotdwara daily at 15.00 and gets to Old Delhi at 21.45.
