2 weeks minimum, though 3 weeks is more like confortable. Four weeks is what I would really suggest, but you wont need so much.

come on guys...! its not a question of being able or not being able to cover all those places in a weeks time.. ..you just might, but then you'll miss the feel of all the places and end up exhausted.. ..to enjoy and have fun.. ..focus on just one type of place.. ..a snow resort like Gulmarg for instance and go there and have a hell of a time..

..I bet you'll have a blast of a time in the snow and would cherish the memories forever..

By February it will be too late for skiing on the slopes of Gulmarg.

oh really! that keeps changing each year... ..depends on how much it snows in Jan to ascertain whether the skiiable snow stays there on the resorts till feb.. ...but when I went in 2002 there was a lot of snow..?

anyways if there's not that much snow to ski on, one can still paly in the snow.

hey, you'll have to think as to what do you most prefer to do.. ..because one thing I can surely tell you is that you cannot enjoy all the things at once..

..you may consult or join a travel community for more answers on that.. ..try oktatabyebye.com.. ..its a rapidly expanding travel community and might help you get the answers you require

rushing around is no holiday. if you plan on spending most of your time on trains save your airfare and just spend a couple of days on your local metro train.
Rather than trying to see as much as you can, see a couple of places properly this time and leave some for next.
good luck
