The distances are HUGE given the inevitably low M/KPH that busy and bad roads impose; It's not smart to be on the road after sunset. Thinking about DRIVING Udaipur-Delhi in a day is VERY ambitious-over 600+ kms on roads that are nothing like freeways. Go see what you feel like seeing of course but I personally would try to hit Fatehpur Sikri in the early morning before the tour buses hit this wonderful place. And it's a pity to miss out Bikaner. Sadly there's never enough time...

I'd catch the train back from Udaipur to Delhi overnight, or fly.
Yes, you'll have to pay for the driver to return to Delhi with the car but you won't have to spend all day long in it. |

Even if I could tolerate sitting in a car for that long, there is no way I would choose to drive into Delhi with a driver who had already been at the wheel on Indian roads for at least 16 hours. Unless you want to cut something out of itinerary, do yourself and your driver a favour and fly back to Delhi. There are daily flights with Kingfisher, an excellent company, and it cuts the return journey time down to just under three hours.

I second Haylo, by car from Udaipur to Delhi will take at least 14-15 hours without any stops, so take a flight. The rest of your itinerary is doable, though still imo a little rushed.
Enjoy! |

Udaipur to (Chittgarh) Chittorgarh, is a highway and just over an hour's drive. Chittor Fort is very worthwhile, but it's the largest in Asia/World? so you need time. Plus one end is a nature reserve, which few know or visit, great location for absorbing/picnics. Chittor via Bhilwara to Jaipur is also a fast road, except Jaipur environs, & you can by pass Jaipur for the Delhi highway. Still it's a full days drive. Overall seems far too much drivetime and you'll get tired of it and may have less time to absorb what you visit.

Here's a more manageable itinerary for the time you have:
Day 1 Arrival, transfer to hotel Day 2 Delhi tour Day 3 Delhi - Agra (leave in the morning, afternoon Agra sightseeing) Day 4 early morning Taj sightseeing, drive to Jaipur with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri Day 5 Jaipur day tour Day 6 Jaipur - Bikaner Day 7 Bikaner - Jaisalmer Day 8 Jaisalmer day tour Day 9 Jaisalmer - Khuri camel ride and night in desert Day 10 Khuri - Osian Day 11 Osian - Jodhpur Day 12 Jodhpur - Udaipur with a stop at Ranakpur Day 13 Udaipur day tour Day 14 fly from Udaipur back to Delhi. If I had one suggestion it would be to cut out Osian and use that night in Jodhpur. You can visit Osian during the day from Jodhpur, it's not far. That would mean you have 2 nights in everywhere except Agra and Bikaner- a much more comfortable pace. These journeys are much shorter, which means they are safe for you and your driver.
