Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Khajuraho, Varanasi- How to get from place to place?

Does anyone know when the new direct train from Delhi to Khajuraho is starting?

No idea, there hasn't been any mention of it since the budget, seems like Lalu pulled another fast one to gain a cheap boost just before the budget.

When it does start, it will most likely consist of some additional carriages being added to the following train (3 days a week), then detached at Mahoba and taken to Khajuraho.

Train 2448A (Tu, F, Su only), Nizamuddin 21.35, Mathura 23:32, Agra Cant 00:25, Mahoba 05.55....then Khajuraho at about 07:45.

Train 2447A (M, W, Sa only), Khajuraho abour 17:45, Mahoba 19.47, Agra Cant 02:25, Mathura 03:20, Nizamuddin 05.15 (I wonder if this train could be timed to depart it's whole journey a couple of hours later, it's got awful timings for Agra)

Sorry Steve I meant to say we have book our trains between the places already, I may just re-book so we can get there early. Can you tell me a bit more about the festival ?
