i will be in india first two weeks in june- which place is best to visit around that time and worth travelling to? thanks

June is hot.
2 weeks? Depending on which part of India you are landing in, suggest you head for a perferably less crowded location in the hills... Himachal, Uttaranchal, Darjeeling, Sikkim, or the 'lesser' (in altitude) hills in the South. |

It would help to know what you are interested in, and the type of things you like to do.
Two weeks is not a great deal of time. (I spent two weeks in the Siliguri, Kurseong, Darjeeling area, but I am interested in Narrow Gauge Steam Trains!) |

If you are landing in Delhi, Uttaranchal or Himachal would be good options. Darjeeling/Sikkim are far.
