Hello,

I'm wondering if someone can give advice on traveling from Cochin to Anjuna, Goa by train? I can't seem to find the train station names on the irctc website, any suggestions?

Thank you!!

The nearest train station to Anjuna, as I remember - Thivim (station code THVM). For Cochin station name is Ernakulam (ERS or ERN).

Best train would be 6346 Ernakulam Junction (ERS) 14:15 Thivim (THVM) 07:18 running all days. Classes available 2A, 3A and SL

Thanks for the train station information, this is very helpful. Would either of you know if there is any place to leave your luggage in Cochin while waiting for the train? I have about 5 hours between arriving in Cochin and leaving on the train for Goa. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

At all train stations there is a luggage room where you can left your luggage for a very small price. But don't left anything eatable and have a small locker for your bags (they usually ask to lock it - but never check as you backpack is really impossible to open with the locker on it )

Hello again,

I just tried to book train 6338 leaving ERS at 19:55 2A sleeper but irctc website will not actually let you book this train. It says it is not available for booking. 6338 train only runs WF which would be perfect because I will be leaving Cochin on Friday and the later departure times gives me a chance to visit more of Cochin. Any ideas why this train is not available for booking? Should I wait and try to book again later or use an alternative train?

Thank you for your help.
