Cochin - Hampi - Goa.

Hi,

I've been browsing this site for a while now in anticipation of our trip to India. Now we're finally here it's good to be able to contribute, even if it is just a question

. In about a week we're hoping to go from Cochin to Hampi, stay in Hampi a few days and then back across to Goa. We're hoping to use trains as much as possible as my bad back and long legs give me grief on buses! If anyone can suggest the best route or point me towards a thread covering this I'd much appreciate it.

In India only 36 hours and loving it already!!

Consider going via Bangalore, it's probably the quickest way, it's also got lots of British type pubs, so not a bad place to spend a day or two.

Below is the train information you need, BUT you must start booking your trains now, they get busy this time of year, especially the Hampi - Goa leg.

Kerala - Bangalore.

Bangalore to Hampi.

Hampi to Goa.
