Classical Indian Dance

Hello. I will be travelling to points out of Bangalore at the end of October and would love to see some classical dancing. Any suggestions?

Don't know the area, but as no-body else has answered yet...

You might be better off in the city, rather than points out of it.

I know that there are regular music performances in Bangalore, although not perhaps on the same scale of frequency as in Chennai; I'm sure dance will happen there too.

You'd think that with any luck there'll be some local "what's on" (section of a) paper, so keep an eye out for that.

Thumbs up Indian Classical dance

Bangalore is a city in India where it is easy to find a classical dance concert such as Bharata Natyam Kuchipudi etc on a regular basis. The best way is to check daily engagements column in local newspapers for name of auditorium and addresses. You may also check www.artindia.net or www.narthaki.com
