| Bus or Train? (back to Delhi from Almora/Nainital/Kausani) Hello, I am wondering what transport you would suggest for returning to Delhi from the " Almora/Nainital/Kausani region" Take it easy, make no train pre-booking and use a bus? Or is the train more convenient? I personally opt for the train as you can still walk around in there instead of being stuck in a bus for 9 hours, but maybe the bus ride is worth it (scenery, etc.)? We will be arriving to Kathgodam noonish by train from Lucknow on November 22nd and have to be back in Delhi sometime in the afternoon of November 28th (as we have booked train tickets to go to Agra on the early train on November 29th)... I saw the night trains are all booked and you can be wait listed and there is a train from Kathgodam to NDLS around 8 or 9 am taking you into Delhi around 3 pm. Are there other trains going to another station in Delhi (I have a hard time finding the right stations for places...) Thanks a million! |

| There are still berths available in 1A on overnight train 5014 RANIKHET EXP from KATHGODAM (20:40) to DELHI (04:10) on the 27th and 28th. But I'd take the daytime train, as you mention above (train 5036). There are still some places left in CC and a lot left in 2S on the 28th. |

| Take the train if u get it. Or a luxury bus from Almora or Nainital, the ordinary ones will be a pain in the rear, literally. |
