Bored in the North

Hello everyone
I've spent the past Month in Himachal Pradesh, having come up from Rishikesh, going to Shimla-Kinnaur-Spiti and now I'm in McLeod Ganj.

I'm stuck for ideas as to what to do next! I've got until May the 1st in India and am thinking of maybe popping down to Amritsar, but apart from that I'm not really sure where else to spend my time.

I haven't been to Rajasthan but from reading other posts it sounds like it's going to be a little hot!

Any ideas?
Kim

I think kimoni has seen quite a bit of the himalayas in himachal pradesh......
rajasthan would be a nice change..... its not unmanageable if you stay in air conditioned rooms and travel in a slow pace (have my self travelled in rajasthan in may and august).

Take the trip to Amritsar, and see the Golden Temple, you I am sure will not regret this, and take in the parade at Wagaha Border - time permitting.

Go to Bir - only a couple of hours by bus, and hang out with the paragliders in the Tibetan village. Explore the interior. Or just Move man ...

Time is over for Kim after tomorrow.;-)
It happens to me regularly that I doubt about where to go, or doubt about staying or leaving somewhere. There might be 1 or several days, that I cannot make up my mind. I learned that the process takes care of it self. I might be confused, or not able to choose, but there always comes a moment I choose! It's part of me traveling.
