Booking a side trip?

Hi all,

I will be traveling to India (Bangalore) on business for approximately 45-60days. I am thinking of booking a personal trip (3-5 days) at the end of my business trip. I currently leaning towards a tour of the Golden Triangle but might be interested in a eco type tour as well. Should I book that from the US or wait until I get to India? I am thinking the cost would be lower to book it while I am in India? Any thoughts?

Welcome to Indiamike.

Wait until you've spent some time in India. And book two weeks at least.

Remember you've also got a half dozen weekends to use, and you can get to some pretty interesting places from Bangalore with a one-hour plane flight, or even an overnight train.
