Bharatpur and Fatehpur Sikri
Hi,
Ive booked an early dawn train from Ranthambore Tiger reserve to Bharatpur bird park. I aim to visit the bird park in the morning and then hire a taxi to go to Agra in ther afternoon, visiting Fatephur Sikri on the way. Is this do-able? Am I able to hire a taxi at short notice in Bharatpur? If so how much would I expect to pay? If not do-able I'll book another train ticket Bharatpur>Agra. Its very much Doable..but what are your further plans, if you want to stay in Agra then it would be better that you catch a bus to Fatehpur Sikri and then one to Agra...however if you want to return to Bharatpur then taxi might be a good option..

Yes, it is doable. Hiring taxi in Bharatpur is not a problem, it can be hired at a short notice. Avoid train ticket option as you have limited time.
