best tour operator for chardham
which is the best tour operator for chardham
my budget is 16K per person for 10/11 days and better it should include food and everything should be taken care like food accommodation and itenery or else i cannot enjoy the journey and if some thing goes wrong rest of my family ( four member all adults) will blame me.
I have done lot of surfing the net some are not operators they are just travel agents.
heard some names like nirmala travels, southren, GMVNL,skylark, shub, IRCTC,Travel air, samrat, rao,
but i need feedback from those who have gone so thout i can do the yatra peacefully
planning to go in october last week.
some more doughts
1) My travel date is october 25 from delhi or 26th from haridwar, for 10 days will badri and kedar close before nov 5, i guess they close only after deepavali
2)iam searching for tour operators based on following parameters
approved my ministry of tourism
member of IATO
should be operator not a travel agent
3) stay should be in hotel family type ( no luxury ), no tent or make shift type.but some were using the word camp does this mean we will stay in tent outside
i have got some rates from atari tour and travels delhi,Ajay Travels Pvt. Ltd delhi,ShubhYatra Holidays Pvt. Ltd. haridwar, still yet to decide on the operator.

Shubh Yatra has received good praise here.
But when you are going late why not do it on your own. At that time there is no problem of accommodation, so all you need to prebook is a vehicle, for which plenty of suggestions are available in other threads on Chardham.

we were there last year trough one of tour operator in Delhi Discovery Full Circle Tours and found very reasonable and very nice service including driver accommodation etc. you can contact them at mktg@discoveryfullcircle.com, or Delhi wala is right you can do your own and i don't think there would be any problem

hey kumar, seems you are giving yourself a headache here. if something has to go wrong it will. what you have to make sure is that you have a backup plan and it will all be good. triyund, tungnathji, valley of flowers
You need to cross check Badrinath will probably close before 25-OCT.....
I was in impression that Badri will close on "Duja" after Diwali , but during recent visit priest told it will close before as Nov. will very cold there.
I agree with Delhiwala , try your own. In Mid of Aug. i was there at Badri, Hemhund , and velly of flowers and not found any difficulty.

finally i think shubyatra is good
other day i went through iinova back seat is not so good.how is xylo.problem is back seat are not suitable for taller people in innova. seat height is less.
Innova vs xylo for chardham i heard that xylo has good legroom at the back this is what i came across a blog
"I have checked both of the vehicles. Toyota is the best in the world when it comes to quality. Saftey wise Innova is much better but with Indian Roads and Traffic all the safety features you get in Innova is highly unnessary. Innova has 2 fatal flaws. 1. Driver can not see the front of the veichle from the driver's seat no matter how high or how close you pull you seat up. 2. 3rd row seats are very cramped. Also Innova seats are much lower which is not comfortable for tall people. Xylo 3rd row seats leg room is probably the roomiest in the Indian market right now and 2nd row is just as roomy (slightly more than 3rd row). Seats are alot higher kind of like Bolero which makes it very comfortable for tall people. If you have several mediam personalities (Indian standard) then you can easily fit 10 people confortably in Xylo unlike Innova. Innova seats were too low for me and leg space was too cramped for me. I suggest if you are tall (near 6 ft or taller) or large personality go with Xylo else go with Innova."

Hello ilashah
just saw your post and I'm wondering if you went to Chardham as planned? If so, would you kindly let me know which tour operator you used and how much was the cost for how many days? Did you opt for deluxe package?
Many thanks.
