best route varanasi to kerala asap!!

Hi,

We were hoping to get some help asap for a possible route from Varanasi to Kerala. We'll be in Varanasi on the 22nd of Jan and are flying home from Delhi on Feb 18. In between those dates we want to hopefully do the Khajaraho/Orrcha/Sanchi loop, head down to Kerala, up through Goa briefly, visit Mumbai/Ajanta/Ellora, and then back to Delhi.

We know this much is definitely possible, but are not sure as to which the best route will be to take. We are thinking either:

Varanasi -> Khajaraho/Orrcha/Sanchi (by combo of bus and train, how easy and time consuming is this???) --> Aurangabad/Ajanta/Ellora --> Mumbai --> Goa --> Kerala --> flight to Delhi

or.....

Varanasi --> flight to Kerala --> train to Goa --> Mumbai/Ajanta/Ellora --> Delhi, with the possibility of doing the Sanchi/Khajuraho/Orrcha route between Mumbai and Delhi

We have had a driver take us around Rajasthan, and will be arriving with him in Agra on the 21st Jan, where we had planned to move on by ourselves, but if it is easier to take him with us further than this is also possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as we need to make a decision fast! We are quite unsure of how the best way to travel around Khajuraho/Orrcha/Sanchi in particular. Any other possible routes would be great!

That's the best route, however, Mumbai just for the flight (to Kochi), and why go to Goa?????, they have beaches in Kerala and they're just as good/bad as the beaches in Goa.

NEWDELHI->(BY FLIGHT )VARANASI-> BY FLIGHT/BUS KHAJURAHI->Bus to OCCRA->Bus to SANCHI->Train to Aurangabad for ellora and ajanta caves->by train/bus MUMBAI ->by train to GOA->By train to Kerala-> by flight DELHI.

Thanks for the help! We're thinking we might fly down to Kerala and then work our way back up through Goa --> Mumbai --> Ajanta/Ellora --> Sanchi --> Orrcha/Khajuraho --> Delhi.

How easy is it to travel through that Sanchi/Orrcha/Khajuraho region by bus/train? How should we go about doing it? Do u recommend any other areas nearby?

are you skipping varanasi?

any way on the wAY FROM AURANGABADto sanchi you can visit Bhopal(PALACES,ancient mosques,famous lake,museum) ,BHIMTEKA(cave paintings,CHIKOLD(Lake side palace).
all these places are very near to sanchi.
