Best route to Chakrata
hi folks
i plan to head to Chakrata this Friday. I want to ask folks who know those parts - which is the best road to Chakrata from Delhi? Should i take the route via Karnal - Yamuna Nagar - Paonta Sahib or via Meerut - Dehradun? Also, in case anyone has stayed there recently, would they recommend the Garhwal Mandal rest house or the Snow View hotel? -- http://shanx9328.fotopic.net

If you are used to UP traffic then go by Meerut – Dehradun, else take the Karnal - Yamuna Nagar - Paonta Sahib route. In any case, you can take one route while going to Chakrata and the other while coming back. This way you will get to see both the routes.
