Best Places to go - Feb/March
Right now, we were supposed to be in Mumbai... but we haven't left home! My poor partner got sick two weeks ago, a week before we were due to travel, and has had 2 lots of surgery! Better that this happened at home than in a Rajasthani desert. Fate can be kind.
So - instead of postponing our trip for a few weeks, we've decided to make it a few months and to go Feb March. This way we avoid pressure, stress and get to look forward to it all over again. We had worked out a good plan (I think) of Rajasthan - a 2 week loop including Delhi, Pushkar, Shekhawati, Jaisalmer. Jodphur and Udaipur before just watching the world go by in Bundi for a final week or two. Now that we are travelling at a different time, we need to decide if there are better places to go for that time of the year - hot is OK. Hot hot is not. We'd really appreciate thoughts to help us work out new plans. Thanks! |

February-March is still a good time to visit Rajasthan. At the end of March the temperature on some days goes up to 35 degrees but it is quit bearable.
This site http://www.india-tourism.net/weather.htm gives you some ideas. |
