Advice to get from Ayodhya to Jim Corbett NP

Hello, I will be in Ayodhya for Ram Navani and then to Jim Corbett NP (closest town Ramnagar). Leaving Ayodhya 3/25.

Appears to be about 500km. From the looks of it it would be train from Ayodhya to Lucknow, Lucknow to Ramnagar, then taxi.

I don't see any trains to Ramnagar on Cleartrip. I have this from Indiawildlifeportal

Air : Phoolbagh, Pantnagar at a distance of 50-kms is the nearest airport. Delhi at a distance of 300-kms is the nearest international airport.

Rail : Ramnagar is on the broad gauge track from where the road transport options have to be availed to reach the park. For faster trains and connections to other parts change at Moradabad.

Thanks

There looks to be 2 ways of doing the journey.

Faizabad to Moradabad

Moradabad is 80kms south of Ramnagar and is the main transport hub in the area.

Then get a bus or train to Ramnagar, there's a chance that you can get a direct bus to Corbett, but I really have no idea if this is possible.

Or

Train from Ayodya to Lucknow (Faizabad doesn't offer better train connections in this case)

Then train from Lucknow to Ramnagar (Sleeper Class only)

Sleeper Class details & photos.

But, train 3307 (departing Ayodya 10:05) is the only reasonable choice to connect with the Ramnagar train, and train 3307 starts it's journey much to far away to offer a good chance of reliability, so I'd be very concerned about getting to Lucknow in time for the Ramnagar train.

Also, considering check in time (at Corbett hotel) will be midday at the earliest, I'd go for train 4205A from Faizabad to Moradabad, there is availability in 2A and SL and 3A is RAC1 (this will get confirmed.

Maybe start another thread about getting from Moradabad to Corbett.
