Advice on North India, Seven Sisters of East India in 2 Months

Hey Everyone,

First of all I'm a new guy on these forums. And I happen to be novice traveler (oops wanderer) too. I'm from India and I'm planning for extensive northern India tour for this summer. I'm 22 years old and I plan to travel all alone. My itinerary would be of 60 days duration.

Itinerary:
1. Leh and Laddakh
2. Himachal Pradesh - Simla, Kullu- Manali
3. Uttaranchal - Rishikesh, Dehradoon, Nainital, Haridwar
4. Delhi
5. Punjab and Haryana - Wagah border,Chandigarh
6. U.P. - Varanasi (Benaras), Allahbad (Prayag), Ayodhya, Lucknow
7. West Bengal - Darjeeling, Kolkata, Siliguri
8. 7 Sisters Of Eastern India - Mostly visiting capital cities
9. Kashmir - Im yet to decide on this venue


Duration with start and end date:
15th May to 15th July

No. Of Travelers:
Alone.

Budget:
Moderate/Medium

Mode of Transport:
Preferably trains/buses

Daytime/Overnight:
Both

Travel Background:
First time traveling alone. Have traveled with parents/family on many times in India.

Flexibility:
Yes

I would like to know whether given plan is feasible or not. I have absolutely no experience of planning a travel itinerary before. I would also like to ask will it be safe to eastern states during summer time?
Any thoughts?
