Thanks for the reply.
I have travelled to Mizoram and Assam recently. So target is on other states. Apologies for not putting the specific details earlier. Arunachal: I heard about Tawang, that this is a fantastic place to go. I am planning to go there, So If you can help me on this, not only about Tawang but also about the good spots in between where I can spend 1/2 days. Sikkim: I dont have any idea on this. I would like to go for some places where there is not much tourists, so in way want to go to some good places (scenic and natural beauty) but offbeat areas. Meghalaya: Currenly I am thinking of Shillong/ Cherapunji. Regards Yash |

No problem at all.. Ive been to Tawang..its amazing , but extremely cold. You need to go to Tezpur in Assam and then drive down via Bhalukpong, Tipi, Bomdila-Dirang-Sela Pass and Tawang . You can check my blog on AP. You need to break your journey . Suggest you stay in Tezpur and a night in Dirang-Its very beautiful . You can go beyond Tawang to see the frozen lakes . In Tawang, you can see the monastery, the gompas, the war memorial
Sikkim - I would suggest Pelling, Nathulla-Tsango Lake , Yumthang and Gurudongmar Lake I missed Shillong , but I think the destinations you have decided are great . Have a great trip |

Thanks for the valuation information. Howz is Arunachal in terms of ppl. In Mizoram, people were quite helpful and friendly. I hope the same in Arunachal. Any suggestion on travel to Tawang from Tezpur is welcome. Are they defined time intervals of buses or shared SUMO there?

Shared Sumo is available..heavy security is there . You need a permit. Avoid public transport. WE didnt have any problem with the people..not overtly friendly either ..but helpful
