Advice needed - which cities to visit ??

Hi Everybody

Looking for a bit of advice here and any would be very much appreciated!

OK so I have been invited to India to participate in a traditional Indian wedding. How exciting!!

I arrive into Mumbai on the 4th of February, and have a few days to kill before I need to be back in Mumbai for the 8th.

So to my question - Is there anywhere I can fly to that would be a great experience that can be done in 2 - 3 days? I know very little about India so don't have the slightest idea where to begin.

I have about a week after the wedding as well, so I have already planned to hit Goa for a bit of R&R.

Take a flight from Mumbai to Jaipur in Rajasthan. Do some local sight seeing for 2 -3 days. Details in the Rajasthan forum on this site.

Hi jared,

welcome to mumbai , Take a look at the maharashtra forum.

You could do ajanta ellora and aurangabad in three days.

Or as suggested by Sanjay Go for rajasthan although think jodhpur + ranakpur/ kubhalgarh will be a better experiance then the more touristy jaipur.

Visit the forums page, read up some more and then decide
