Advice: Jaipur Swing fest 6th Aug to Alleppey 9th Aug- How?
Hi folks,
Have been assisted on another thread planning an itinery and got some great multi stop advice amongst others- thanks. We would like to see the Swing festival in Jaipur 5th Aug then get to Allepey for the Snake Boat Race on 9th. Any suggestions? Possible plan Jaipur- Delhi by train or car (how much would latter be?) Delhi- Trivandrum- Flight Triv- Alleppey by bus? Any assitance on specifics or alternatives would be appreciated Ta Jinja |

There is a train will leaves from jaipur to cochin on 8/08/08.If you want you can book the ticket as early as possiable.

Can i book trains this far ahead? Jinja ps I can't find such a train- where should i be looking? The steve ber link says no such train!? |

You can only book trains 90 days ahead. I think flying would be the quickest and easiest for that long distance; also give you more time in each place.

Swingers in Jaipur
There are swingers in Jaipur?!?!?! Damn, I was just there a few weeks ago, it seemed like a really conservative place to me. Double damn that would have made my stay much more interesting. O well maybe I will just have to make the fesitval.

Jaipur,ta, although i can't remember where we stop. In all takes about 6 or 7 hours? Can look it up if helpful

just to update this thread- as seems to be the case re planning this trip- we changed things a little. Now visiting varanasi not jaipur. So fly out of delhi as nothing direct from varanasi to the south.
