RAJASTHAN TRAVEL ITINERARY
9 days, 10 nights. origin: Mumbai. My tour to rajasthan was done in a similar way.

Tip: It is always better to start from JP than from UDZ.
friday: catch evening 2953 AK RAJ 17:40 to reach SWM on
saturday: 6:30 am. reach SWM 6:30 am.
Catch RSRTC bus (bus stand is to left side of SWM RS. catch rick to
SWM. will take 15 rs to busstand) to JP from SWM. SWM to JP takes 3-4
hrs. Reach JP by 11 am. fresh, start tour by 1 pm. do Ganesh mandir,
birla mandir, musem, JP palace, museum, and spend evening in johri
bazar and main city.
SUNDAY: do amer fort, and other sight seeing forts nearby. Rest in
JP for evening, or do shopping at Maniharon ka rasta.
Catch overnight train to BKN (4737) or if possible you can catch
afternoon intercity to BKN.
MONDAY: rest at hotel Joshi, outside BKN RS. contact no: 0151 -
2527700. First go to Goga gate by rick to catch private bus to
deshnoke. (5 rps/pax) after darshan at deshnoke, return by private bus
to ganganagar chauraha. From there do Lalgarh palace (its walking
distance) and have lunch at Lalgad bus stand. Later catch rick to see
fort in middle of city. Then return to hotel and rest.

TUESDAY: ealry morning go to LGH to catch INTRCY to JSM. rick takes
40 rs from joshi hotel to LGH RS. train (4704) from 7:00 to 13:30 JSM
Book hotel Henna in JSM. Contact them earlier only, at 02992 255483,
or 9414721282. (they take time to spell out ur name!) They will
arrange for your tour nicely. Appx. max. 1700/pax for entire stay in
JSM, incl sam safari. Bargain with them for lesser amt. Tel them that
u r first going to desert then local sightseeing in the next day. they
will show 5 sightseeing places on the way to Sam safari. see sunset,
watch cultural show and rest in tent.

WEDNESDAY:: return to JSM city (hotel) by 10 am. All the facility is
done by hotel people. then after refreshing, go for city sightseeing.
That will get done by 4 pm. Have lunch at hotel bikaner (which is in
jaisalmer!)
After this catch evening delhi train to JU (4060 i guess). Alit.
overnight train to JU. For hotel in JU, tell rick driver to show
appropriate one in Sojati gate, near fort.

THURSDAY: JU tour. gets done by 3 pm. Later go to RSRTC stand and
catch bus to AII. Takes 4 hrs. at AII, stay in hotel Nagpal tourist
hotel 2429503 (close to station, 3 people 700 Rs); Hotel regency (near
dargah, has a good veg rest: 3 people 620 Rs) 2620296, 2621750,
2622439. AFAP, also try out a hotel near RSRTC bus stand. that is
preferred since it'll save your time later.

FRIDAY: bus to pushkar, reach by 9, darshan by 10, return by 11,
dargah by 1 pm. Leave AII by 1:30 pm. go to RSRTC busstand and catch
superfast bus to nathdwara. catch buses which go via bhilwara, not via
byavar. 5hrs. (200 kms) Will reach Nathdwara by temple timing (5 pm to
630 pm). rik to Srinathji takes 20 rs. thers facility for baggage
storing @ temple. be quick else temple can close. After darshan catch
bus to UDZ to reach UDZ by 10 pm or so.

SATURDAY: COR. leave UDZ, catch RSRTC bus, 2 hrs by road, watch fort
takes 4-5 hrs. largest fort in asia. I m keeping slack time incase u
miss Nathdwara u can do that in evening. U can do sanwaliyaji in the
middle of road if poss.

SUNDAY: UDZ city sightseeing. rick takes 250 rs. enjoy tour, you
can leave UDZ at evening 4pm itself to reach ADI by midnight. Catch
overnight AC express to rach mumbai by 5 am!
