5 weeks this July and August; please help!

Hi All,
My wife and I are headed into Delhi in Late July and will have 5 weeks. We both love the mountains and since it is the monsoon season, we hope to head north to Ladakh for some of our time. Not sure how to break it up since we'd like to see Rajahstan, possibly the Kullu valley, take the manali-leh highway, and then some of the classics around Delhi. Any advice for a couple of seasoned travelers who are finally making it to India?

Also, any recommendations for a quality trek or 2 while in the north would be greatly appreciated!
