yes, its very easy to travel in india and very cheap too. you need not have to spend more money. If you have enough time to spend then there is no need much of money. Provided, if you travel by simple mode of transport. There is no much luxury in transport but they are really cheap if you know. You can travel by train- 2nd class or by bus. They are really cheap.

Hi.
Please do not miss Mumbai.. its a must after all a huge metro cosmopolitan city as well as India's financial capital. This is similar to Goa and Goa is only 1 hour by flight from Mumbai, It would be right if you visit places in this order Rajasthan - Mumbai - Goa, you have flights Mumbai to London too.. |

Magnificient Mumbai
Hi,
Atleast, dont miss mumbai. you should visit mumbai and from there you will have direct flight for london. So, you should visit. Of course, its expensive but worth seeing. If you can adjust and compromise with luxury, mumbai is not that costly. I can suggest you the itenary,if you wish. Last edited by Aishah : Mar 5th, 2008 at 19:24. |

Also, unless you have something planned for Ooty, it is best to skip it as it has turned commercial to the point of collapsing as a tourist destination. It just isnt the peaceful colonial hill station that it used to be. Instead, you could try coastal Karnataka/Maharashtra for those off-beat places.
