Need some advice on my holiday plan to HP & PB.

Delhi to Amritsar

1.Where to stay for a night in between other than chandigarh.
2.Amritsar Guesthouse Staying option, if near golden temple - better.

Dalhousie

Hotel Option Pls recomend

Mcleodganj
-----------
Hotel option in and around mcleodganj.

Manali
-------
Hotel Option not far from Downtown Manali.
Can opt to stay 1 days away from manali / around manali town.

Shimla
-------
Hotel option prefer down town
For one night any place around very different from shimla.

Chandigarh
-----------
Hotel option

Budget for hotel - Rs. 800 to 1500 per night
Hotel with parking prefered as i would be driving myself.

In Amritsar, try staying in one of the (paying) guest rooms at the Golden Temple. Nothing elaborate but certainly comfortable.

McLeod Ganj - Hotel Snow Lion (just behind the small temple in Temple Road)
