Hey, India experts! Would love to get your feedback and suggestions on the itinerary that my friend and I have put together. A bit about us: we are two young females that are looking to get a good cultural experience. We don't care for touristy traps (i.e. taking a photo with tigers) sort of thing. We want to experience the beauty and culture of the country.

Too much time in Delhi. Can be easily substituted with Jodhpur, club with udaipur and move udaipur down towards departure.
Also drop a day from Jaipur and add to agra

Most destinations you can reach by car or train, see etrain for the timings.
Realize that you cannot just go to the station and buy a ticket. Man on seat61 gives more information.

Jaisalmer - Delhi is too far for a car, you need the train.
Udaipur - Jaisalmer is also a long stretch with no direct train. Best to take a bus/car to Jodhpur and from there to Jaisalmer.
Drop some days from Delhi and use them in Jodhpur.

You can also spend some time in Shimla or Mussourie when you return from Rajasthan on 12th. In case you opt for Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), you can also experience the toy train (although i didn't find it to be awesome as people describe it). Shimla is a nice place. You can also spend a couple of days in Mussourie(Uttarakhand) and maybe go for small day hikes or see the nearby water falls. I am just suggesting places that are not too far from Delhi and where you can relax and enjoy unless you wish to do something adventurous in the last two days then you can return to Delhi and fly back. In case you wish to go as per your schedule, do let me know if you wish to meet up. enjoy
