15Month baby - 5days..

Have treavelled in india b4fore, however, We have a 15 month baby, and we have 10 days in india - is there anywhere 12 hours train ride away from mumbai where we can escape the monsoon, pref near a beach, I believe Goa is wet - we are looking to spend 5 days away from bombay, and 5/4/3 days in bombay.

Any suggestions?

hmm 12 hrs from bombay and preferably near a beach means goa, even if wet.

goa in the monsoons is nice, but you need transport.
