Way too hectic ... u'll be sitting in the car for the entire duration.

Either stick to the Delhi/Agra area or fly in and out of Leh since you have only 10 days.

@vikram thanks for the input.. will keep in mind about the night buses from delhi.... and also to stay over at keylong....

@faustus... The bombay - agra - delhi looks good... just that we wanted to try the Rajdhani heard a lot about it...

I know the trip looks hectic and we might mostly be travelling for 3 days straight,
from delhi - Manali (12 hrs) (stayover Reach on monday)
next day to keylong (stayover tuesday)
then reach leh on the 3rd day... i.e. wednesday eveningish...

Thurs we go to nubra valley, stay there then fri while returning check out dikshit....
saturday we go to pangkok and sunday we take a flight back to Mumbai from leh....

The travel is a lot... but i have heard the route from manali toleh is beautiful and it will be worth the ride.... Any inputs??

You will be too exhausted by the time you reach leh to enjoy. the manali leh route is very beautiful but the journey is exhausting.

If you have just 10 days then -
mumbai -(by air) delhi - manali - leh would be enough.

PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE SARCHU FOR NIGHT HALT. Many of you may fall ill. Choose Jispa instead.

Wow, I think not all of you would survive such a rushed itinerary. You should consider flying from Delhi to Leh, skipping Manali. I thought all of Ladakh was much more interesting than the Manali area, and the flight takes only an hour or so. The bus from Delhi to Manali took me 16 hours, and Manali to Leh is something like 20 bus hours split by a short overnight somewhere... beautiful but with your time frame it's not worth it!

It is 30 day itinerary squeezed into 10 days.

Way too hectic! When you reach a place such as Manali, spend a few days to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the environs by taking day-trips. Explore 50 klm radius. Why go any further? Why so many miles? Think about these questions anyway even though you won't change.

You can experience the universal through a particular!
