How can we get understandable maps !!
Friends,Do you know where can I get free maps from the webstite with detailed streets, roads, etc ?

www.mapmyindia.com is a good site, with zoomable street maps of most of india.

Indeed. Try the Maps sub-forum you posted in; don't expect too much of it, the better companies will know better than to offer their stuff for free online.
For commercial maps (and some online tasters) you could try http://www.mapsofindia.com/ .

Hi good question because I want have one of Pune which looks to be a big place. It took four hours to get there from the place you wanted a map from and it took an hour to go to one part of Pune to another.

Try Google Maps too.
Also Wikimapia is good for searching and finding places, but suffers from being cluttered up with too much rubbish.
