Tell me what you and your friends think about the place...Does it really have a lake? From what I've read there is something there. I've been reading about South Delhi all afternoon, sounds like a cool historical place, lots of old buildings, lots of crafts and a fort.

More on the lake

I think you should get the Eicher city map. Quite comprehensive.

Delhi is one giant open-air museum - doesn't matter which direction you head. There are relics/ruins that would take months if not years to cover thoroughly & efficiently.

Echoing BigZero... the Eicher City Maps are superb.

I think the Delhi one is a larger format than the others as well.

You can buy online, I think from one of the links people have given here. Even if the carriage is more than the book it is still worthwhile! Git to run or I'd check the link to buy....

Delhi and it's Neighbourhood's is a map and important spots/locations digest that you can pick up at all book stalls. Only costs about 50rps and it is really all you should need.

And just spare a couple of moments to crosscheck with this one:

You can use “Search Places” option for more specific search. Great one !!!!

Not Calypso itself, but the Hauz Khas complex is at L32 on the Eicher Delhi Tourist Guide, which I found very useful. The map goes on until row 42, almost including Suraj Kund. The northernmost part includes Majnu ka Tila. The 2000 edition of this folding map + 75 p. booklet with a fair selection of famous sights and a map index is marked Rs. 69.

OK, is that the Eicher City map or the Eicher Delhi atlas or this tourist guide. Since the atlas is only $40 INR, the tourist guide only $20 INR and the City map $270 INR perhaps I should get all three and stipulate that they ship in one package to cut the carriage costs

Look at this and the following page and tell me which ones are the best to order as they have a lot of variety.
