And let's not forget the goddesses!

I don't even get to Mumbai for several weeks, and I'm already packing & planning the events around my reunion w/ college friends. My friends here think I'm crazy. Maybe I am.

Have a great trip CindyIndie!

You may be missing India, when

-you go out and buy shot glasses just to drink chai in

-you eat every meal possible with your hand and scorn that pretentious fork in your dish dryer.

-you get in a motorbike accident and cry for 10 minutes when you get home, not because of the shock or the scraped knee, but because 100 men didn't gather around and get involved and no aunties came to try and get you inside to give you water and cucumber.

-you can't go into a bar or nightclub without feeling scandalized by what people are wearing nowadays

-you can't have a conversation without inserting those annoying words - "well in India they..." "when I was in India..."

(4 months and counting til I can return...)
There must be more to life than having everything. - Maurice Sendak

You may be missing India when you absent mindedly step out onto a double laned main road IN AUSTRALIA expecting the swarms of trucks, cars and motorbikes to swerve around you, and slow from their 80km/hr speed limit.

You may be seriously risking your life!! Missing India can be dangerous

When you get out your chant book that you used in morning/evening satsangs and chant at the top of your lungs when nobody else is home....

You may be missing India when you spend hours on Google Earth at 600 ft view scouring beaches, mountains and the dirt tracks to them...

Yes, that one is an exhausting trip, especially when you download all the panorama shots along the way.
