Excellent post, what a great way to sum up one of the most beautiful and enlightening countries in the world. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Excellent sentiments. Thanks are due to LunavadaLad for resurrecting this thread, after an 18 month hiatus.

I'm back one week after my 1st three month visit. Your post made me cry.

Ok, just tear up a bit actually. But I so miss my Indian friends and the food and I'm so glad I brought home spices and tea dust to make my own chai....

Everything seems so off here. I'm having a hard time engaging in the things I used to think I liked (like TV, American food, shopping...ughg.)

I hope this feeling passes as I go back to work tomorrow and hope to do more than stare into space.

Luckily, I'm going back ...in just five looooooong months.

Thanks for a wonderful post.
