Oops, I'd forgotten about this thread.
Hello DGH, great to see you here, Have you been back to SL? (I'll sent you a PM.)
Wonderful news about the pregnancy, only 14 years till you have your own teenage tearaway. Everybody seems to remember me, I still get old friends sending me abusive e-mails. ![]()

dear steven__ber,
I just found this thread. Read it from beginning to end. All I can say is wow. What a privilege it is to share in your story. Thank you. Thanks for sharing the struggle and the joy and the pain. When I read the part at the beach where you came nose to nose with the dreadful pain of those days in Thailand, I thought to myself that there was nothing coincidental about that timing. It was a specific time and place where you allowed yourself to face the horror and yet how wonderful that it was in Goa with Michelle and Maggie that you received such a sweet and gentle (as well as lively!) time of healing. I also understand your uneasiness with sharing such a deeply personal time in your life. All I can say is what others have already said- thank you for your courage and faith that it would be received for what it is- a gift. Let me add my encouragement to you to consider your writing as something to be pursued. ![]()
