A different world than India, Pakistan is a such a wonderful experience that only now, during my last hours, can writing to share my heart be attempted. The night is late, and time is of the essence. My love for this country will never cease, as does their love for all whom are welcome, regardless of country. WIth my final words in Pakistan: I truly love this beautiful country.
That was nice to read Wazen, I felt exactly the same after visiting Pakistan, it's probably the country that has most affected me as a traveler, and these days wherever I go I always end up comparing it to the experiences I had there.

Conor.

Vinod is the patriach's name and pronounced "We-node".

I had fun time there playing cricket with Devesh "Dave-aesh" a enthusiastic kid! Though the apple's had not ripened yet he got me one from their orchard which tasted like nothing I have had before.

Vinod leaves early to attend his hotels in Manikaran so I had little opportunity to interact with him and Devesh's Dad has a store to attend to in Jari.So it is the ladies who have to take care of the guests.

The Austrian you speak of was not there. The people I met were a couple from Detroit and a group of four French men .There was some nice smoking times in the sitting area leading to the roof and outside on the lawn.

Me being of Punjabi origin helped me curry little favours from them like getting a beer from Jari on Devesh and his sister's store trip(chore) on a sunday.

Vinod could not help much but in the tea shop/eatery close by I recognised one boy by name Lalu who works in Kasol Inn and he made some arrangements for the resin.

All in all a good trip and something I would like to do again next time there.I stay in the south of India so not easy to make the trip on a whim but after going there it does not feel that far.

Rains have been about 30% less than normal but that should not dampen the spirits. Have a great time and tell.

Regards

Smile Inspired

Whats up man, I have just finished reading your complete journal. I wanted to let you know how much of an inspiration you have been to me. I am leaving for India in 21 days to spend a month over there. This is not nearly as much time as I'd like but its a start for my future travels back. I found your journal very helpful for my journey to India. I have set up a journal on here as well and look forward to sharing my experiences as you did. Thanks again!

Best Wishes
Kristina
