Its wrong now but when the thread was created there a very strong chance that it was tourismofindia.com at that point....

That site never was an India Tourism initiative.

Oh Ok....so it was basically a private site and the official tourism site and hence wrongly mentioned to begin with...cool.

hello we are diandles all between 52 and 63 a family of 4 and we are coming to india on the 05/01/09 for 6 weeks making our own way around the main thing we want to do is the golden triangle darjeeling varanasi kolkata chennai and cochin two of us are not very keen on planes and 3 of us can drive but we are really interested in the sleeper trains breaking off along the way any info will be invaluable thanks everyone diandles:

hello no we havent made any travel arrangements yet as we are still trying to get our visas sorted but i understand some people are annoyed with me for not reading through the information everyone has posted and i am sorry everyone but i seem to be having lots of blonde moments and cant seem to get around the sight but i will keep on trying anyway we are all still coming just a few days late and we are flying to delhi and hopefully see as much of india as we can so i hope you will be patient with me as i find my way around the site (dont worry i am not in charge of the map in india)[/quote]
