Over here I would also like to point that the Indian men are victims of a stereotype as well...

Lot of western women coming to India, who research a bit, have an impression that all Indian Male are trying to catch them.

Now, what would be called a typical male behavior in west, if a Indian does the same, then also its perceived in a different way by expats..

Im blonde and english and when i went to goa i got a LOT of looks. I got back from denmark last night and no one batted a eye lid. enjoy the attension while it lasts

I just wondered if by "in general" you included the suggestion that people (here we're talking about women) should enjoy the attention of men staring at their breasts, backsides, blond/fair hair, etc etc, men following them, including into restaurants and hotels, men touching them when they're walking in the street, standing in a shop, sitting/standing in a train or bus?

Well... I saw more cleavage and midriff displayed by more women than I have seen in a long time over the past few days.

But before you guys hasten to follow my Kerala-village footsteps, I hasten to point out that most of the ladies were probably over 60.
