As to nose pins on both sides - I've never seen that here. Muslim women however (traditional village ones) have enormous gold discs on their left nostril - how they cope with these I wouldn't know, very heavy I think.

Hey - can I talk about men for a minute, I've just been watching the cricket and I have to say that Anil Kumble is definitely a bit of alright!!! He must be up there with SRK in the Indian sex symbol stakes? Oh, and the 5 wickets were pretty alright too!

At the risk of sounding like a boy crazed teeny bopper, I always check out the sports pix in the Indian news papers (online or in paper) to check out those players. More than a couple could be sitting on movie sets if they could act or dance I'm thinking!

And just on that topic - we arrive in Mumbai the night the first Australia/India test ends (if it goes 5 days that is)... I guess if we've won we just keep our heads down & not say we're Australian, and if India wins (not looking likely) the place will be going berserk!

I'm still under 40, BARELY, but I have always kinda chair danced / thrashed or did the time warp to my own drummer! My bag may be a bit old, but it's still full o fun!
