This thread not only makes me LOL but I really love the way it is a long and windy road! It's one of the few threads that really is like an actually conversation in a coffee shop or over dinner...goes to and fro, back to the subject, jaunt off to the left, quick dip into the gutter, back to the subject! AND tons of humour, now quick.....back to the serious stuff.

Uhh Nick? Quit playing with your food...you're making me giggle again! And Karuna? Quit eyeing up the waiter..YES yes yes...he looks like SRK.....now drink your lassi...

And parts of the thread were as serious as it is possible to get. Almost!

Ah well, that's the nature of the site, I'm pleased to say

Its like a lovely girly gossip and chat thread - well done you blokes for keeping up with the leaps of logic! I love this thread - we should have had bets on how long it would take until SRK popped up (I wish!) I keep posting this link on all the threads that refer to him because I just love his absolute certainty of his own gorgeousness.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGq41V78w8o

Speaking of going horribly off topic (PLACE SEVERAL APPOLOGIES HERE) Non SRK fans please stop reading here.........

THANKS for that video...I am now grinning ear to ear!!!
WHAT is it about the boy?!? I mean I've never seen someone with so much charisma. It's his acting really and the characters and the way he just has mastered that 'hungry' look..he smoulders.

I mean, he's not that hot...if you can be objective about it, his hair is funny, he's incredibly short and his nose is big, he has an overbite, his eyebrows are funny, with the exception of his new movie, his body is pretty average.....so WHY DO I FIND HIM SO ADORABLE?!!?? Hrithik is WAY better looking techically and a great actor...so WHY would I choose SRK every time?? Butterflies in the tummy?!?!?

Neha Dupia says Sex and SRK sell in Bollywood...she then goes on to say that sex IS SRK! LOL Ruffled some feathers, and had alot of people grudgingly agree! Shah Rukh Khan has been voted as the Sexiest Asian man in the world in 2007 by the UK based paper Eastern Eye. I personally vote for 2000, 2001, 2002, etc.

OK...I will now try very hard to refuse to speak about him again for this thread and on IM for at least 3 days....hopefully I can last a week!!

PS. I am just too pathetic!!! It's official...I am a goofy 'fan'. Ick. I am even guilty of buying just about any magazine if he is on the cover.. LOL

*ahem* Sorry....I now return you to your regularily scheduled India themed conversation.

Kim

I love the disdain for the interviewer who obviously had no clue about the sheer size of Indian and Bollywood.... it was as much SRK thinking the guy was ignorant of Indian culture as him being arrogant I think - I agree he is just plain sexy. But I find Bill Murray sexy so what would I know!

SRK isn't really that short, actually, in the grand scheme of actors. He just looks it because he's cast opposite le Bachchan so often.

*has met both*

Is there a nanny nanny boo boo smiley?

Has met both?????

Grrr.....

You know what made me finally succumb? I was watching an interview with him (SK) on YouTube...oh, alright I wouldn't have been doing it if I hadn't already succumbed....but anyway, the interviewer asked him if he would rather be loved and adored, or admired and respected (I'm paraphrasing), and with pretty much no hesitation he said "loved and adored". No embarrassment, no apology, no bullcr*p. What a guy.

Maybe that was the Tom Cruise reference in the interview above? He is EXTREMELY short! I know - Bill Murray ??!!! , its that dry sardonic sense of humour I think... also have a little thing for John Cusack since High Fidelity - I love that movie.

Yeah, that's why I say "for an actor". I don't know why this is, exactly, but a lot of actors who are sex symbols are extremely short. (Antonio Banderas is about my height, and I'm a short woman!)

SRK would probably be considered short or on the low end of average compared to all men in general, but for an actor, he's about average. He was actually taller than I expected him to be.

I know what it is. Testosterone. Makes men short, and more manly.

Also bald, Karuna! LOL at your 'kiss of life etc.' joke Nick.
I'm also a SRK fan, but the other one I really like who is in all those silly Motorola ads is Htrick Roshan or Roshan Hitrick I just don't really know his name even!
And if you want really drying out your hair stuff then go to most of the western brand name shampoos here! You'll also end up with dry scalp... which can itch and make you think you have nits.

Hrithik Roshan. To me, he looks like a walking comic book character. I think it's the chin. He should play a superhero.

Regarding bollywood stars we like, can I just say I am really, really disappointed that Abhishek is married now?
