Great stuff.
Look like I recognise one of the guys from the movie "Last Hippie Standing".

A movie that has some great shots from goa in the 60´s and the fleamarket.

Allso some kewl interviews etc.... But dont expect anything amazing.
All in all it does not tell a deep story or nothing....

Yep Ikuru, a friend told me about this movie and I'd love to see it... But for some strange reason it isn"t edited here in France (in Europe, only in Germany if I'm right) so I was hopping some relative would be going there and could bring it back for me... But Germany doesn't seem a major destination for the moment!
I have so little testimony of that part of my life that I'm keen on seeing everything related to it. Just a way to compare it to my own memories.

(can someone tell me how to quote a message???)

Seventies'hippy thanks for the recommendation! I'll talk to Santa about it... I've got to tell U there's a new french movie on screen called "The cactus" which takes place in India (sort of a comic film) and there's a guy acting in it, just the twin of your avatar, it's incredible! (he's name is Pierre Richard). In the movie he wears sheer orange trousers with a black string under...I guess the likeness doesn't go as far!

sending photos and scans

I've got some old photos from '72 and some I just took a couple of weeks ago in south India. I'm just not technical enough to figure out how to shrink any of them to less than 100.0KB and I can't see how to do it from this website.
Any idea?

Just ran across a negative of a house boat tied up to the bank in Varanasi, circa early 70's. I recall that it was a popular low cost stay with many living aboard long term. Another haunt of the so called hippies. Will see if it will upload...

Try scanning the photo,s in .Putting into a photo program i.e Microsoft picture manager. Re size (you will find that in the edit suit ) then place on desktop . On Indiamike go to reply to message (Where i am now) down a bit to manage attachments, and press button (click it i think is the tecki term) click on browse ,select desktop, locate photo click on it .and with a bit of luck it will upload .If it doesnt have another drink and try again .
Good luck

U can resize a pic via a photosoftware (mine is Adobe Photoshop, but their are others). It will be less heavy. Sorry I'm not the best in technic but if it helps...
