The site YourManInIndia declares itself to be a concierge service for NRI's for a wide array of services ranging from obtaining official documents and certificates to Investment and Legal counsel, to relocation services to finalizing travel arrangements. In fact, they entertain requests for any kind of service and promise to do their best to fulfill it.

Uh Oh! I should have realized that the spam sensors are set at 'sensitive' levels!

The site appeared to be a genuine one and with a useful and unique mix of services. The group promoting the site is a reputed one and seem to have the operational network and experience to actually deliver the stuff they have listed on the site.

Next time I will be careful on how I word the introduction when making a posting like this!

I first ran into this site a couple of years ago, I think. At that time, I remembered wondering if it would work... quite a few NRIs I know have family back home who do this stuff.

More and more NRIs are prosperous and I guess some of em would like this sort of service.

I didnt mean cost. A lot of the stuff done by NRIs in India requires trust in whoever is doing it for them.
