Yoga-Meditation for a visa ???

Hi,
Yesterday I had a meeting at the Indian Embassy, trying to convince the people over there to give us a long term visa, because we are going to live in Goa, not work, study nor opening a business, just retire.

I also can prove we have a steady monthly income.

Nothing helped, exept that one guy kept on saying over and over again
" Yoga - Meditation " and that age didn't matter for those classes !!!

So, I wonder, does that really helps, and if so, whom to contact, and what
to ask for ???

By the way, we are not really interrested in following those classes

Greetings

NO, they didn't nock me back on age, the only thing he said was that when we could
prove we on that kind of class, my age (51) didn't matter ( so he was trying to help
without saying)
Can we get a letter of recomendation from one of these Yoga - Meditation centers ???

Jeez Ray they even knocked YOU back damm those long term visias are hard to get!!
As far as getting a letter of recommendation from A yoga school or Ashram well I hate to be pessimistic but I think the chances are slim especially if you are not serious about following their course!
Maybe someone has first hand knowledge about this??
